We have worked with her on a range of projects from the development of a brand and investment prospectus for a hotel in the Falkland Islands, to our own marketing materials.  Her designs are always fresh and well thought out, but she is also responsive to our own ideas which helps us achieve the perfect solution quickly and economically.

The Falklander – Acorn Tourism Consulting

Owners of an award-winning, boutique hotel on the Falkland Islands, were looking to expand their range of accommodation with luxury, eco lodges.

Based on the evocative name ‘The Falklander’ we were asked by Acorn Tourism Consulting to create an identity and prospectus to help portray the vision.

We explored a variety of concepts for the identity but the solution was starting us in the face – the view! Unique, recognisable, stunningly beautiful and a key feature for all the lodges.

Emulating a travel journal, Sarah sketched the scene using watercolour in hues synonymous with the landscape.

The watercolour theme was developed further to include the famous wildlife of the Fallkland Islands which could be used as vignettes throughout the prospectus and other marketing materials.

The prospectus combined the illustrations with stunning library photography and was printed onto a pristine white, tactile, uncoated paper stock (FSC certified of course!)

A room with a view! There’s really no better way to summarise this project.
